Internationaal Transportbedrijf Overbeek b.v.

The activities in transportation started in 1940 when Mr. J.M. Overbeek bought a company for buying, selling and carrying coal and fodder products. Later there was a switch to the transportation of hardcore and concrete and after that also ferry trailers.

When the container was introduced at the end of the sixties Overbeek anticipated the revolutionary development of this concept and focused on transportation of these boxes. It became and still is a specialty of Overbeek.

Since the end of the seventies the management of the companies of Overbeek has been in the hands of the brothers C.W.M. Overbeek and M.N.C. Overbeek. 

Since 2005 the companies are in the hands of the nephews C.J.F. Overbeek and J.M.C. Overbeek.
